The National Street Rod Association® is pleased to announce the dates for the Southwest Street Rod Nationals coming to the OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This premier automotive event will be held on July 8, 9, 10, 2022. The participants and visitors to the OKC Fairgrounds will be part of the largest automotive participation event in this area.

This year marks the 32nd time the National Street Rod Association® has chosen Oklahoma City as their host city for this event. The National Street Rod Association® (NSRA), is headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee. Vehicles will be driven from all parts of the United States to make this a truly unique gathering of vintage automobiles featuring nearly every make, model and style. In addition to street rods this event includes all vehicles from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s, adding to the automotive excitement created in past years.

Spectators will be treated to the sights and sounds of some of the best constructed, most beautiful vintage automobiles ever to gather in one place.

This event will include manufacturer displays representing leading automotive specialty and aftermarket suppliers, as well as a “Women’s World” area with arts and crafts. A vintage car parts “swap meet” adds to the experience and helps the enthusiast find these “one of a kind” parts.

Designed with fun for the entire family in mind, the Southwest Street Rod Nationals is the place to be July 8, 9, 10, 2022.

EVENT:

  • Identified as the area’s premier car show and automotive trade show.

DATES AND TIME:

Friday:     July 8th, 2022           8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.

Saturday: July 9th, 2022           8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.

Sunday:  July 10th, 2022          8:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.

SPECTATOR ADMISSIONS:  (paid admission includes an “Event Spectator Guide”)                   $19.00 – 13 YEARS AND OLDER / $6.00 – CHILDREN 6 THROUGH 12.

FREE – CHILDREN 5 AND UNDER WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

$40.00 – FAMILY – 2 ADULTS & 3 CHILDREN  (12 YEARS AND YOUNGER.)

A special discounted $17.00 admission is available for military personnel with proper

military identification, NSRA members with their current membership card or

anyone 60 years of age and older. One discounted admission per person.

  • The National Street Rod Association, one of the world’s largest rodding and automotive sanctioning organizations with over 50,000 members worldwide, produces the NSRA Southwest Street Rod Nationals.
  • The NSRA Headquarters is in Memphis, Tennessee.

FEATURING:

More than 1500, vehicles that are 30 years and older street rods, muscle cars, pick ups, customs and collector cars from all over Colorado and the adjoining states will be in attendance. All cars manufactured from 1992 and older are welcome to attend. In addition to lots of chrome, beautiful paint and luxurious

Interiors, these cars have modern chassis features added such as state of the art

Suspensions, four- wheel disc brakes, along with comfort features like air

Conditioning , Cruise Control, Tilt steering, Exotic Stereos and much more. An action packed weekend with a truly unique blend of Rods, Customs, Muscle Cars, Trucks and specialty vehicles offering something for everything.

Plus, every vehicle entering the event will be eligible for any and all awards

and giveaways presented during the weekend.

VALUE:

At the Southwest Street Rod Nationals, there will be a minimum of $90 million

dollars worth of cars. Most cars are valued from $10,000 to $125,000 per vehicle.

SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS:

Women’s World, an Arts and Crafts Fair, will be held in conjunction with the event.

  • Live entertainment will be featured on Friday and Saturday at the
  • Music, games and fun for the entire family throughout the weekend.
  • There will be an exhibit of automotive parts and a Swap Meet with older parts for sale all three days.
  • Sunday at 10:00 AM an all denominational church service featuring “Sunday Drive” and Rev. Jim Rowlett.
  • Street Rod Parade on Friday morning leaves from gate 2, (Street Rod Entrance) at 10:00 AM and goes to Downtown.
  • TRADE EXHIBITS:

Auto manufacturers and dealers of specialty automotive equipment will be selling their parts, supplies, and accessories in the exhibit building during the three-day event. It is a good time to see the products and shop for those accessories for your projects.

AWARDS:

On Saturday, July 9th, there will be a “Streets of Rods” area  aside for the display of

special featured vehicles.

This year’s “Streets of Rods” area includes a return of:

“29 Below” sponsored by Vintage Air of San Antonio, Texas. This street is for all            street rods owned and registered by participants 29 years of age or under. Each           participant will receive a t-shirt, a dash plaque and there will be a random drawing for two Super Prizes.

The following are the four new “Streets” for 2022.

“Deuce Drive”       sponsored by O’Brien’s Truckers of Charlton, MA

(To commemorate the 90th anniversary of the 1932 “Deuce” Ford.

This street is open any and all vehicles manufactured in the year 1932,

not just Fords).

                                     “Long Top Lane” sponsored by Watson’s Street Works of Nashua, New Hampshire.                                        (Open to any and Station Wagons & Sedan Deliveries).

“Fatman Fabrications” sponsored by Fatman Fabrications of Charlotte, North Carolina.

(Open to all vehicles manufactured by the Chrysler Corp. up 1992).

GM Truck Alley” sponsored by Harrisons Rod & Custom of Greenville, TN.

(Open to all Chevrolet & GMC Trucks).

There will also be Children’s and Adult games in the morning and the afternoon on Saturday.

On Sunday, July10th, an awards program will be held at 1:00 P.M. at the outdoor stage area featuring the award winning cars of the 39TH Annual NSRA Southwest Street Rod Nationals.

OTHER SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS:

  • On Friday, Saturday and Sunday the Pin Stripers Charity Auction will take place and the “Pin Up Girls” will be on there on Saturday!
  • Two ISCA Awards, sponsored by the International Show Car Association.
  • PRO PICK Awards, sponsored by CLASSIC INSTRUMENTS.
  • An all-denominational church service on Sunday morning.
  • Entertainment during each day’s activities by “Nick Donovan’s Rockin Road Show.”
  • NSRA Safety Program - This program is a voluntary check of the owner’s vehicle for all aspects of safety.
  • Super Prizes will be drawn by participant number and given away throughout the weekend to lucky participants.
  • “THE NSRA SUNDAY SWEEP$TAKE$”. Event participants have a chance to win one of three $2,000.00 checks to be paid to the lucky winners in the form of a check from the National Street Rod Association. You must be present to win and have your “Sunday Only Ticket” deposited in the ticket drum, Membership Card and a Photo ID with you.
