The CarBuff Ambassador Program

Build the car.
Build the brand.
Build the relationship.

A structured way for automotive manufacturers and the people using their products to create clear, accountable, mutually valuable partnerships.

Relationships First
Expectations Clear
Value Delivered
Partnership, not promotion

Social media creates exposure. Relationships create opportunity.

The conversation changes from “What kind of deal can I get?” to “What can we build together?”

CarBuff Network is designed to facilitate introductions and manage expectations between manufacturers and ambassadors. Instead of centering the relationship on free products, discounts, follower counts, or promises, the program begins with value: what does the manufacturer need, what can the ambassador deliver, and what does success look like for both sides?

Once the products, expectations, and deliverables are agreed upon, CarBuff provides the structure to manage the partnership.

Who can be an ambassador?

There is more than one kind of automotive ambassador.

A valuable partner might own a shop, race every weekend, build at home, organize events, guide trails, create content, or represent another manufacturer.

🔧

Shops & Builders

Build vehicles, create installation content, attend events, generate media coverage, and promote products through real customer projects.

🏁

Race Teams

Track installations, competition exposure, media, events, photos, video, and other agreed deliverables.

🚗

Enthusiasts

Owners managing their own projects in a home shop or garage, often participating in regional events and automotive communities.

🏭

Manufacturers

Company vehicle builds that create opportunities for brands to collaborate and share media assets.

🎪

Events

Promotional vehicle projects tied to event exposure, media, photography, video, and display opportunities.

🧭

Event Staff & Guides

The people who make qualified events happen and can represent products through authentic participation.

🎥

Content Creators

Partners whose value may come from photography, video, education, technical content, entertainment, or audience reach.

+

Other Opportunities

Manufacturers can evaluate unique projects and alternative deliverables that fall outside a standard program.

A CarBuff difference

The vehicle is the ambassador.

A builder may use different brands across different projects. Connecting the partnership to the vehicle keeps each relationship clear.

A shop can build two vehicles with competing products without creating confusion about which brand it represents. Each project stands on its own, with its own products, expectations, deliverables, and results.

How it works

A clear path from introduction to results.

  1. 01

    Build your CarBuff profile

Add your vehicle or project, experience, previous work, event plans, media opportunities, and the value you can bring to a manufacturer.

  2. 02

    Find a manufacturer

Explore participating brands whose products genuinely fit your vehicle and submit a partnership request.

  3. 03

    Propose the partnership

Explain what you're building, which products you're interested in, and what you can offer in return.

  4. 04

    Define the deliverables

Both sides agree on expectations before moving forward.

Qualified Events

Where partnerships become visible.

CarBuff Network is developing relationships with automotive events where meaningful participation can become part of an ambassador partnership.

Qualified Events can give manufacturers additional ways to recognize event staff, trail guides, competitors, builders, display vehicles, and other participants who create authentic brand exposure.

The Qualified Events network is designed to grow through relationships introduced by manufacturers, ambassadors, and event organizers.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is this just a discount program?

No. The purpose is to create structured partnerships between manufacturers and ambassadors. Product pricing, discounts, rebates, buy-backs, and deliverables are determined by the participating manufacturer and the agreed terms of each project.

Do I need to own a professional shop?

No. Ambassadors can include shops, professional builders, race teams, enthusiasts building at home, manufacturers, events, event staff, trail guides, content creators, and other qualified participants.

Do I need a large social media following?

Not necessarily. Audience reach is only one possible form of value. Manufacturers may prioritize craftsmanship, photography, video, racing, event participation, technical content, media opportunities, or other contributions.

Who decides what deliverables are worth?

The manufacturer. CarBuff provides the system, while each participating brand defines the deliverables, terms, values, and approval standards that make sense for its goals.

Can the product be discounted up front?

Yes, if the manufacturer chooses. A brand may use normal pricing, an initial discount, an earn-back structure, or another arrangement agreed upon with the ambassador.

When do I pay the $100 CarBuff fee?

Only after the manufacturer and ambassador have agreed on the products and project deliverables and the partnership is ready to be activated.

Why is the vehicle considered the ambassador?

Because builders and shops may use different brands on different projects. Tying the relationship to a specific vehicle makes it clear which products, deliverables, and results belong to each partnership.

What is a Qualified Event?

A Qualified Event is an event that CarBuff has partnered with for program participation. The network is expected to grow through relationships introduced by manufacturers, ambassadors, and event organizers.

Ready to build something together?

Don't just ask for a deal. Bring something to the table.

Create a partnership around the build, the products, the deliverables, and the value you can create together.
