At the recent 2023 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association) Show held in Las Vegas, Nevada, Wilwood Disc Brakes was honored with the prestigious Street Rodding Achievement Award by the National Street Rod Association during the HRIA (Hot Rod Industry Alliance) reception. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, the company has cultivated a comprehensive range of brake components and engineering techniques. These capabilities empower Wilwood Disc Brakes to develop customized brake systems efficiently and reliably for a wide range of applications.
In addition to serving diverse competitive motorsports through brake design and manufacturing, Wilwood, based in Camarillo, California, boasts a team of approximately 320 individuals. Their inventory includes over 300 brake caliper variations, 200 rotor designs, 100 master cylinder designs, along with a diverse array of brackets, fittings, valves, and brake lines—all readily available for immediate use.
