Women in Automotive and Collision

The focus is Non-profit member organization of passionate women in the automotive industry collaborating and leading members to create industry awareness to students in middle school, junior high and high school, as well as their parents.  We attend career fairs, job fairs, special events like our Drive-in event.  Anywhere we can talk with students and their parents to educate them both on careers available in the automotive industry.

According to WAC President Shelly Jones, “It is important for people and companies in the industry to work together to attract younger generations into the trade,” Jones noted. “The expectation was to bring members and guests together to continue working on our mission. We accomplish this by meeting monthly, developing goals and tasks that will keep our organization healthy, and keeping a calendar of future events to attend that lead us toward our mission of creating career awareness.”
