The Show & Tow Dream Giveaway brought to you by Eastwood, a nationwide drawing sponsored by New Beginning Children's Homes, ended on September 29, 2020. AJ Jette, a South Carolina resident, is the grand-prize winner of a 1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda, a 2019 RAM Power Wagon AAH Edition 4x4 truck, a Futura Trailers Pro Low Loader open-car hauler courtesy of Complete Trailers of Texas and a $10,000 bonus prize package from Eastwood, plus $45,000 towards the prize taxes!
On January 25, 2020, Mr. Jette entered the Show & Tow Dream Giveaway. Little did he know that his donation to benefit eight amazing charities put the winning ticket in his hands! "I love helping others and giving to those in need," he said. "All the charities that my donation benefited are important to me. It's a good feeling knowing I can help others!"
On October 15, 2020, Mr. Jette received a telephone call giving him the exciting news. "When I got the call my first thought was: There's absolutely no way," he said. "After it sunk in I just couldn't keep myself calm. I'm sure I talked my wife's ear off the weeks leading up to the ceremony and even after! The best part of winning was the overall experience. I loved every minute of the award ceremony. Getting to see so many Mopars at the show, seeing the prize package in person, and meeting everyone from the Dream Giveaway Garage as well as the father of drag racing, 'Big Daddy' Don Garlits!"
Mr. Jette is a maintenance technician. In his free time he enjoys going to the gym and spending time with his wife and stepson.
For the people who have yet to enter a Dream Giveaway, Mr. Jette had this to say, "GO FOR IT! Even if you don't win, you can be happy knowing you're helping out those charities! That's a win in itself."
