Built at Posies Rods and Customs in 2004, this 1929 Ford Pickup is a dragster-style, hi-tech, built-for-the-highway cruiser. ThunderRoad graced the cover of Rod & Custom magazine’s December 2004 issue.

A Roush-built small block Ford motor delivers 500 HP through a 700R4 automatic transmission. The Eight Stock injection and MSD electronics offer reliable performance.

The pickup’s tube frame chassis extends throughout the body with a fully hidden roll cage with side-impact, protection.

One-off custom wheels is staggered 18 and 20 inch fitment are shod with 12.5x37 rubber on the rear to complete the dragster-inspired aesthetic.

ThunderRoad has completed multiple cross-country trips across the United States.

The beautiful art-deco interior incorporated with the modem amenities of air-conditioning and great stereo sound makes extended road trips simply a pleasure.
