Vehicle Story

Frame / motor:

TCI suspension - stock frame - Blue print motor - 383 chevy

Last week the air conditioners, yes two, one to cool the front and one unit to handle the back seat passengers (this is a big car) were installed, the motor came to life, most of the finial wiring completed, hood installed, hood latches installed and tested, the bones for the head liner put in place, the BeCool radiator installed and the bumpers, grill and chrome plated stainless started going on.

This week the dash goes in, finial wiring, Dakota Digital gages installed, and seats will go in. The crew has been working "LONG" hours to get the old girl ready for her Vegas/SEMA debut.

The pictures were taken last night, she's a little dusty, and has on whats called a"paint mask" which was sprayed on top of the deep Granite paint to protect the finish from what ever might be floating around in the air in a fabrication shop. That is the reason the paint looks dull and dusty in the pictures.

Remember the 2015 Buick/B-49 reveal is in the NAPA/Martin Senour Automotive Finishes booth #10627, North Hall, November 3, Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. Please join us. It will be fun!

With 10 more 18 hour work days the B-49 will be ready for her maiden voyage.
