Vehicle Story

This 1963 short bus was built by high school students at the Walker County Center of Technology. It was a joint project between our collision and automotive classes with help from our welding and machine classes. We shortened it 82 inches and dropped it over 14. We Zd a P30 clip 4 inches and added BellTech drop spindles. The rear is a Dana 70 HD flipped on F450 springs and hangers. Power is provided by a 0.60 over 350 with 327 double hump heads. A Rochester 4jet is mounted to an Edelbrock intake with a modified original breather. A th400 was used with a shifter made from the original E-brake handle. GM hydroboost brakes do the stopping.
