The Hot Rod inspired 1976 Chevy LUV was voted by Mini Truckin' Magazine as "BEST of 2007".  The LUV graced the cover of Mini Truckin Magazine in June 2007 and has been a fan favorite ever since.  This head turning mini truck was Lukasz Granicy's first of many SEMA builds.

CHASSIS MODS: Suspension type = AIR. Front suspension: Z'd and narrowed Toyota front clip.  Rear suspension: A custom designed triangulated  four-link by Needfulthingz.  Airbag/cylinder type & size: (Front) 2500 Conitech, (Rear) 2600 Conitech. Control arms: Custom A-arms with S-10 ball joints. Shocks: Toxic.  Valves: Chrome 1/2" AirLifts. Compressors: Dual Air Zenith. Air line: Parker 1/2" stainless steel lines. Frame material: 3 X 3" 1/4" thick stock floor, 3 x 2"  1/4"thick back half. Gas Tank: Custom built 15 gal. aluminum fuel cell Stafford Fabrications.  Brakes: Toyota up front & Ford 9" in the rear and a 85' Chevy Sprint booster. Detail Work: Powder coated frame. Misc: Chevy LUV body over a Toyota frame.  Performed by Lukasz Granicy of Lancaster, Ca.                                                                                                                                                                            BODY MODS: Shaved: Fender markers, door handles, key locks, cab vents, bed seams by taillights, bed hooks, tailgate logo, bed markers, antenna, cowl vents, wiper holes, stock mirrors, emblems, tailgate latches. Body dropped:Body dropped past the rocker. Front end: 72'Chevy LUV valance, 80' Chevy LUV headlights, 2 1/2" cowl. Back end: shaved tailgate.                  Exterior bolt-ons:  Hot Rod mirrors. Gauges: Dakota Digital. ENGINE PERFORMANCE: Displacement: 2.6L. Model/Year: 1989 Toyota 4 cylinders. Head Type: LC Engineering, port & polished. Camshaft: LC Engineering. Supercharger: Eaton M-62 w/ 18 lbs. of boost. Transmission: 95' Toyota 5-speed. Intake: Custom by Stafford Fabrication. Header/exhaust: Stafford Fabrication. Ignition: MSD.
