Vehicle Story

This 1980 Chevrolet C10 pickup is being built from the ground up at Tre 5 Customs for Shane Rodriguez.

The chassis features Porterbuilt front and rear air bag suspension, along with their frame stiffener. The fully powder coated and chromed chassis rolls on 22x8.5 and 22x12 Intro Designs "Gallop" wheels wrapped in Pirelli rubber.

Propelling the truck down the road is a brand new 6.2L LS engine from Turnkey Engine Supply, backed by a 4L65E transmission and a Currie Enterprises 9" rear axle. The engine combination should dyno just over 500HP. Keeping track of the engine's heartbeat is a VHX instrument cluster from Dakota Digital.

The truck has been body dropped to lay the pinch molding flat on the ground. Raising the truck off the ground is a complete Accuair Elevel air management system. Under the hood there's sculpted sheet metal inner fenders, radiator support cover, and engine cover for a one of a kind look. The exterior of the truck underwent the full body work and paint treatment from I Kandy Paintworks.

The interior features a newly conformed bench seat wrapped in leather and full Rockford Fosgate sound system that's been installed in custom built and leather wrapped panels. The truck is also sports two sets of Kleinn 130 air horns mounted out back under the operating bed floor.

This C10 is heading to SEMA as a feature vehicle for Kleinn Automotive Air Horns.
