     If you're a fan of classic trucks, you'll love what we've done with our 1987 Custom Deluxe. We've given this squarebody a serious upgrade with some of the best parts available, taking it from average to extraordinary.

     One of the first things you'll notice about this truck are the American Racing Wheels Salt Flat VN511 rims. At 20" x 9.5", with a 0mm offset, they give the truck a modern look that really pops. We've also added Nitto tires for superior grip and handling.

     It's not just the exterior that's been upgraded. The interior has been given a serious facelift too, with TMI Products Pro-Series Sport AR Bench Seat and a Pro-Series Sport Universal Console in Brown Distressed. We've also added a Pro-Series Sport Dash Pad with Brown Distressed and Camel Distressed Insert for a comfortable and stylish ride. Plus, with the RetroSound Hermosa Headunit, HB-M2-216-33-93 and Kilmat sound deadening, you'll enjoy high-quality audio and low road noise on those long road trips.

    From UMI Performance we chose the Stage 2 Handling Kit (P/N 6402), we also added the Street Performance Upper and Lower A-Arm Kit (P/N 643233) to the UMI '87 C10. The Stage 2 kit includes a set of drop spindles, a 1-3/8″ tubular front sway bar, a three-way adjustable 1″ rear sway bar, Bilstein gas-charged shocks, and front shocks. The Street Performance A-Arm kit, on the other hand, includes an upper A-Arm and a lower A-Arm. These kits work together to provide improved suspension geometry and handling and sleek look with an overall 4.5/6 drop, which not only enhances the truck's aesthetic but also improves its handling and cornering by lowering the center of gravity.

     Under the hood, the truck still boasts its original 5.0-liter V8 engine and 700R4 transmission, which are both reliable and easy to drive. We've taken the truck on short rides, long rides, twisty rides, and highway rides, and it's never let us down. In fact, we're planning to take it on more adventures in the future.
