Vehicle Story

Like most people, my passion for Squarebodies began at a fairly young age.   Fast forward 30 years and a few Squarebodies later, I bought my 1976 C10 Bonanza in June of 2022 with every intention of giving it a 5/7 drop and cruising with my sons.  After speaking with a friend and local chassis shop owner, we all agreed the truck needed to be bagged, quickly spiraling into what it is today.  With the help of Nick Muros at Choice Chassis, the truck was built rather quickly with the right group of people helping out.  The truck sits on a Choppin Block Extreme chassis, with Accuair suspension, riding on 22” Corsart Kingpins.  The truck is powered by a 5.3L LM7 LS engine, built by EFI solutions.  The interior came together with the help of Phil Cato at Cato’s Custom Upholstery, along with Dakota Digital Squarebody Syndicate Series gauges and a Squarebody Syndicate shortened steering column.  The bed floor was taken from a long bed, cut down and bolted back into the original shortbed and getting a fresh coat of BASF-Limco Spring Green paint.  The truck was built on a crazy amount of overtime and was eventually named “Time N’ Half” by Ronnie Wetch.
