Vehicle Story
It is easy to get caught up in the hype of showroom-new off-road builds that cost as much as a small house. While modern rigs are undeniably impressive, we wanted to prove a point: you don’t need to purchase a brand-new vehicle to build a world-class, head-turning trail machine.
To show what is possible with a classic, accessible platform, we started with a true off-road legend—a 1999 Jeep Wrangler (TJ).
The Build Philosophy: Accessible Capability
The goal for this TJ was simple but ambitious. We set out to build a highly capable vehicle that could easily conquer difficult trails, serve as a reliable workhorse, and still be replicated by the everyday enthusiast without breaking the bank.
To make this vision a reality, we teamed up with some of the best in the business.
-
Anchored by RockJock: We partnered heavily with RockJock to dial in the suspension and underpinnings. Their proven, heavy-duty components gave this ’99 Wrangler the articulation, strength, and geometry needed to tackle the hardest lines with confidence.
-
Industry Collaborations: Alongside RockJock, we brought in a select group of trusted aftermarket partners along the way to round out the build, ensuring every part serves a functional, durable purpose.
The result is a blueprint for the ultimate real-world rig—a build sheet that enthusiasts can look at and realistically replicate in their own garages.
The Signature Look
Just because a build is practical doesn't mean it should blend into the background. TJs are naturally iconic, but we wanted this specific Jeep to draw a crowd the moment it rolled off the trailer.
To give it an unmistakable identity, the entire vehicle is getting wrapped in our signature company orange. The bold, aggressive color scheme highlights the classic Wrangler body lines while instantly signaling to the community who is behind the wheel.
Built to Work: The Road Ahead
This 1999 Wrangler isn't going to be a pavement princess or a static booth display. It was built to be put to work. Moving forward, this orange icon will serve two main purposes:
-
Rigorous Tire Testing: We will be using this Jeep as a primary test mule. The RockJock-equipped suspension allows us to push tires to their absolute limits in real-world off-road conditions, giving us the exact feedback we need on traction, durability, and flex.
-
Community Engagement: You will see this rig out in the wild. We are taking it to off-road events, trail rides, and community meetups across the country.
We built this Jeep to celebrate the heritage of off-roading, test our products to the limit, and show exactly what is possible with a classic platform and the right partners. Keep an eye out for the orange TJ on a trail near you.
