Vehicle Story
The Dynaliner Coupe’s outward appearance is reminiscent of early ‘50s Bonneville Salt Flats racers. Constructed in 2006. It debuted that same year at Las Vegas’ SEMA show after completing its 2000 mile trip from Ohio. The car was featured on the December 2007 cover of STREET RODDER magazine.
The Dynaliner’s “Bonneville Chop” roofline and hand-painted graphics scream racecar. The streamlined nose and aluminum Rolls Royce-styled wheel covers further echo the Land Speed Racer aesthetic.
The car’s “fauxtina” is more than just skin-deep though. Exterior, interior, engine, and trunk all appear to have authentically aged a full 60 years.
Powered by an 8BA flathead Ford mated to a 5-speed Tremec transmission. Induction is handled by a vintage Italmeccanica blower and dual Stromberg.
