Vehicle Story

Full Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle Chassis road racing based, 1965 Barracuda features Detroit Speed "Alumaframe" front suspension, custom wheel openings, a complete rectangular steel tubing chassis designed and built by Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle.  Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle integrated the Alumaframe system into the chassis, and designed and built the wheel openings and dashboard with Stewart Warner gauges.  C&R Racing custom cooling package, Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle Interceptor IRS with Hammerhead differential and cooling system, including heat exchanger, pump, piping, and controls that were desgined and built by hot Rod Chassis & Cycle.  Recaro Seats, Valspar Paint, Halteck ECU, Viking Berserker, Tremec 6-speed transmission with a Pfitner Performance gearbox sequential conversion, ASM computer controlled shocks, Forgeline wheels, Alcon Touring car brake package, Indy Cylinder Head twin plug 433 Gen III Hemi with a Hilborn EFI Injection, the dry sump, oil system, including 4-stage scavenging pump, remote reseroir, venting system, and supply and return lines from engine to reservoir integrated into the frame rails, was designed and built by Hot Rod Chassis and Cycle.

The "Redtail" also includes an on-board fire supression system.  Despite the obvious race car level construction, it also includes an audio system and Vintage Air.  It is fully street legal and I intend to drive it as often as possible,  I have no use for a trailer queen.
