Vehicle Story
The car we restored was a 1968 Pontiac GTO that we upgraded to ram air II specs. The new parts and services are listed in the build sheet. We used a standard bore service replacement 9792506 block and N.O.S. cylinder heads, carburetor, distributor, spark plugs, water pump and timing cover. The Muncie M21 was rebuilt and put back in service. A correct B.O.P. modular iron HD 10 bolt was located and rebuilt with 3.90 gears instead of the original 4.33s. Power steering service rebuilt the factory steering box with upgraded internals and a 12 to 1 ratio.
