B Rod or Custom is the brainchild of owner/founder Larry Burchett and the culmination of nearly 40 years of experience and passion for automotive restoration. Originally launched in 2003 with the primary purpose of designing, building and marketing a new line of component cars, the company has quickly evolved into a full-fledged, one-stop destination for all things automotive.

With his son and fellow gearhead, PJ, Larry offers an extensive line of services to bring a clientƒ's automotive dreams to reality, including:

• Customization of existing designs
• Concept-to-completion custom builds

Together, Larry and PJ possess the creative energy, innovative mindset and expert knowledge to take any automotive project from a mere idea drawn on a napkin, to that unforgettable first drive. Or if the client is more hands on, they are happy to collaborate and assist however needed along the way. This father-son team not only understands the dreamƒ they know how to fulfill.

Aside from its full line of restoration services, B Rod or Custom excels in creating its own product as well. During the past decade, Larry and PJ have been aggressively developing unique automobile designs that offer both attractive style and advanced technology. With so many of the major automakers today focusing primarily on performance while virtually ignoring finish and driver comfort, B Rod or Custom has taken a different approach. Their designs incorporate racing-style power plant, suspension and transmission technology while still giving ample attention to comfort features that only enhance the ride.

Working from a fully functional design studio within the Barn, B Rod or Custom uses manual drawings, CAD renderings and models both small and large to facilitate the creation of one-of-a-kind products or production-quality, repeatable designs.
